Smartphone Requirements
The Kinsa QuickCare, Kinsa Smart Ear thermometer (just one round button, no side button), and the QuickScan are compatible with:
- iPhones with iOS 14.1 or later and Bluetooth 4.0 or later.
- Android devices with Android 5 or later and Bluetooth 4.0 or later.
iPads and Android tablets are not officially supported, but may still work. Kinsa smart thermometers cannot be connected with Windows or Mac computers, Windows phones, or video game consoles.
Discontinued Thermometer Models
The wired Smart Stick and 2-button Smart Ear (has a round button and a side button) thermometers are older, discontinued, and have more limited compatibility as listed below.
The wired Kinsa Smart Stick cannot be used with the regular Kinsa app and instead must be used with its own Kinsa Smart Stick app.
Note: Since these models are discontinued, the lists below will not be updated further.
